This happens every generation. No joke. People used to think that the Waltz would pollute the purity of music. Jazz and Swing were dismissed in a similar way. Then came Rock ‘N Roll, and Prog Rock, and even the Acid House scene of the 90’s.
I’m 24 and I’m hearing my tutors who are in their thirties talking about how EDM was better in the days of Acid House. It’s annoying, but it seems to be inevitable. I personally just ignore it and move along.

- OHMYGOD, this is so true. And it seriously pisses me off. I can't stand when guys act like they don't care about a girl's weight, but then make a comment about some girl being fat.
- Thanks guys, helping to perpetuate eating disorders and self esteem issues since the dawn of time. Let's also throw in the actresses and video games characters that are literally shaped and molded to look like that. Sure we could all look like Jessica Alba if we all had millions of dollars lying around for a personal trainer, gym membership, personal chef and the multitudes of free time to constantly work out and not eat.
